What is Patient Gateway? Should I create a Patient Gateway account as well?

Patient Gateway is the Partners Healthcare System patient portal. Most practices at Partners and MGH offer Patient Gateway, but the practices below offer the iHealthSpace portal instead:

North End Waterfront Health
Ambulatory Practice of the Future
MGH Primary Care Boston

Specialty Care Practices

MGH Transplant Center
MGH Heart Center
MGH Obstetrics
Reproductive Endocrine Associates
MGH Infectious Disease Associates (in part)
MGH Fertility Center

  • Regardless of where you get your care at MGH or Partners, use Patient Gateway to view or pay your hospital or clinic bills.
  • If you also receive care in a practice that offers Patient Gateway, use Patient Gateway to communicate with that practice, request appointments or prescription renewals or view other information about your care.
  • You can use either portal to view your lab or imaging results, or to see and receive reminders for future appointments.

We realize that using two portals can be awkward, but we recommend that you sign up for Patient Gateway in addition to iHealthspace if you see other providers who offer Patient Gateway or if you wish to access your hospital and clinic bills online.
